Project Description: The St. Luke's Nursing Home - Center for Rehabilitation and Continuing Care project consists of a two story, 32,500 square foot addition and 20,000 square feet of renovations to the 202 bed skilled nursing facility.

 

The project included the conversion of a de-certified 40 bed skilled nursing unit into a new 24 bed In-patient Rehabilitation Unit with a transitional living center, private dining room and rehabilitation gym.  In addition to the new IRU the project includes a new eight station dialysis unit, a new Adult Daycare unit serving 50 local residents, new regional offices for the Visiting Nurse Association and consolidated the region's Home Care Services administrative staffs into a new administrative office center.  Additional improvements were made to the building's food service facilities including a new servery for staff and visitors.

 

The site was improved with the addition of two new parking lots and a gazebo to hold 100 residents.
